6-8 Year Olds

Who are we?

Welcome to the 2nd Gosport (Rowner) Beaver Scouts. 

Our Beaver section is open, for both male & female members aged from 5 3/4 - 8 years old. Once the beavers have made their Beaver promise they wear a Turquoise sweat shirt and our Group neckerchief, which is light & dark blue.

What do we do?

When the beavers join they will join a lodge these are friends they may know or soon make.  In lodges they play team games and have the chance to gain lodge points. They may even get to become a lodge leader!

Beavers work towards 12 Activity badges and 6 Challenges which when gained leads to them achieving there Chief Scout Bronze Award which is the highest badge a Beaver can gain

Are main aim is to have lots of FUN which can involve many varied activities such as Beaver Sleepovers, days out, badge work, craft work, team challenges and community events. We take part in various activities and events that are run at both District and County level as we like to get the chance to meet other Beavers.

We encourage parents support, as we will need extra support when we go out and about.
